KinPawKinPaw Terms of Service

Welcome to KinPaw. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and KinPaw ("KinPaw", "we", "us") and govern your use of the KinPaw mobile apps and the KinPaw website at thekinpaw.com (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use KinPaw
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use KinPaw, and old enough to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a household or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
2. Your account
You provide an email and password, or sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us at gotssom@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk or legal exposure for us or other users.
3. Medical disclaimer — please read
KinPaw is not a veterinarian and does not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Everything the Service produces — calorie and feeding estimates, recipe and nutrition suggestions, supplement guidance, explanations of lab reports or medication and food labels, vaccine schedules, vet-visit question lists, allergy signals, and monthly reports — is general educational and informational reference only.
- Always consult a licensed veterinarian for diagnosis, treatment, medication, and any decision affecting your pet's health.
- Never disregard or delay professional veterinary advice because of something you read in KinPaw.
- In an emergency, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately.
- KinPaw does not replace professional judgment. You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your pet's care.

4. AI features
Some features use AI to read content you submit (for example a journal entry, or an image of a lab report or label you choose to scan) and generate a result. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, is informational only, and is subject to the medical disclaimer above. Review it critically and verify anything important with your veterinarian. How we handle data sent to our AI provider is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the information and files you add — pet profiles, records, journals, photos, and uploaded documents ("Your Content"). You grant KinPaw a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including running the AI features you trigger). You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to provide it. You can delete individual records, or your entire account, at any time (see Section 8).
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. In particular, do not: break the law; infringe others' rights; upload malware; attempt to breach, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service; resell or commercially exploit it without our permission; or use it to provide veterinary services to third parties as if it were a clinical tool.
7. Subscriptions, billing & free trial
KinPaw may offer paid subscriptions (for example a premium plan at the price shown in the app). The following applies to auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play:
- Billing. Payment is charged to your App Store / Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Free trial. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and you are charged the then-current price.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google, and refunds are subject to their policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices; changes apply to future billing periods and, where required, only after notice and your consent.
Apple App Store purchases are also governed by Apple's standard EULA.
8. Cancellation & account deletion
You can stop using KinPaw at any time. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, open the app, go to Profile → Delete account, or email gotssom@gmail.com. Deletion removes your pets, records, journals, and reports and cannot be undone. A subscription must be cancelled separately in your App Store or Google Play settings.
9. Service availability & changes
We work to keep the Service running but provide it on an "as available" basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output is accurate or reliable. This does not limit warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KinPaw and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, or for any harm to your pet, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold KinPaw harmless from claims and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence apply. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in California, unless local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

1. 이용 자격
KinPaw를 이용하려면 만 13세 이상(또는 거주 국가의 디지털 동의 최소 연령 이상)이어야 하며, 구속력 있는 계약을 체결할 수 있어야 합니다. 가구나 단체를 대신해 서비스를 이용하는 경우, 그들을 대신해 본 약관에 동의할 권한이 있음을 확인하는 것입니다.
2. 계정
귀하는 이메일과 비밀번호로 가입하거나 Google·Apple 계정으로 로그인합니다. 계정 정보를 안전하게 관리하고 계정에서 발생하는 활동에 대해 책임을 지는 것은 귀하의 몫입니다. 무단 사용이 의심되면 gotssom@gmail.com 으로 알려주세요. 당사는 본 약관을 위반하거나 당사·다른 이용자에게 위험 또는 법적 문제를 일으킨다고 합리적으로 판단되는 계정의 이용을 거부·정지·해지할 수 있습니다.
3. 의료 면책 고지 — 꼭 읽어주세요
KinPaw는 수의사가 아니며 수의학적 진단·치료·진료 조언을 제공하지 않습니다. 서비스가 제공하는 모든 것 — 칼로리·급여량 추정, 레시피·영양 제안, 영양제 안내, 검사 결과지나 약·사료 라벨 설명, 백신 일정, 진료 질문 목록, 알레르기 신호, 월간 리포트 등 — 은 일반적인 교육·참고용 정보일 뿐입니다.
- 진단·치료·투약, 그리고 반려동물의 건강에 영향을 주는 모든 결정은 반드시 면허를 가진 수의사와 상담하세요.
- KinPaw에서 본 내용 때문에 전문적인 수의 진료를 무시하거나 미루지 마세요.
- 응급 상황에서는 즉시 수의사 또는 응급 동물병원에 연락하세요.
- KinPaw는 전문가의 판단을 대체하지 않습니다. 반려동물 케어에 관한 결정의 책임은 전적으로 귀하에게 있습니다.
귀하는 계정을 만들 때 이 면책 고지에 동의했습니다.
4. AI 기능
일부 기능은 AI를 사용해 귀하가 제출한 내용(예: 일지 항목, 또는 스캔하기로 선택한 검사 결과지·라벨 이미지)을 읽고 결과를 생성합니다. AI 결과는 불완전하거나 틀릴 수 있고, 참고용일 뿐이며, 위 의료 면책 고지의 적용을 받습니다. 비판적으로 검토하고 중요한 내용은 반드시 수의사에게 확인하세요. AI 제공업체로 전송되는 데이터의 처리 방식은 개인정보 처리방침에 설명되어 있습니다.
5. 귀하의 콘텐츠
귀하가 추가하는 정보와 파일 — 반려동물 프로필, 기록, 일지, 사진, 업로드 문서("귀하의 콘텐츠") — 의 소유권은 귀하에게 있습니다. 귀하는 서비스를 운영·제공하기 위한 목적(귀하가 실행하는 AI 기능 포함)에 한해 귀하의 콘텐츠를 저장·처리·표시할 제한적 라이선스를 KinPaw에 부여합니다. 귀하의 콘텐츠에 대한 책임은 귀하에게 있으며, 이를 제공할 권리가 있음을 확인합니다. 개별 기록 또는 계정 전체를 언제든지 삭제할 수 있습니다(제8조 참조).
6. 금지 행위
서비스를 오용하지 마세요. 특히 다음을 하지 마세요: 법규 위반, 타인의 권리 침해, 악성코드 업로드, 서비스 침해·과부하·스크래핑·역설계 시도, 당사 허락 없는 재판매나 상업적 이용, 임상 도구인 것처럼 제3자에게 수의 서비스를 제공하는 행위.
7. 구독·결제·무료 체험
KinPaw는 유료 구독(예: 앱에 표시된 가격의 프리미엄 플랜)을 제공할 수 있습니다. Apple App Store 또는 Google Play를 통해 구매한 자동 갱신 구독에는 다음이 적용됩니다.
- 결제. 구매 확인 시 귀하의 App Store / Google Play 계정으로 요금이 청구됩니다.
- 무료 체험. 무료 체험이 제공되는 경우 체험 기간 동안에는 요금이 청구되지 않습니다. 체험 종료 전에 해지하지 않으면 유료 구독으로 전환되어 당시 가격이 청구됩니다.
- 자동 갱신. 현재 기간 종료 최소 24시간 전에 해지하지 않으면 동일한 기간·가격으로 자동 갱신됩니다.
- 관리·해지. App Store 또는 Google Play 계정 설정에서 언제든지 관리·해지할 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제해도 구독은 해지되지 않습니다.
- 환불. 결제는 Apple 또는 Google이 처리하며 환불은 해당 정책을 따릅니다. 당사가 직접 환불해 드리기는 일반적으로 어렵습니다.
- 가격 변경. 구독 가격은 변경될 수 있으며, 변경은 이후 결제 기간에 적용되고 필요한 경우 사전 고지와 귀하의 동의 후에만 적용됩니다.
Apple App Store 구매에는 Apple 표준 EULA도 적용됩니다.
8. 해지·계정 삭제
언제든지 KinPaw 이용을 중단할 수 있습니다. 계정과 모든 관련 데이터를 영구 삭제하려면 앱에서 프로필 → 계정 삭제로 이동하거나 gotssom@gmail.com 으로 연락하세요. 삭제하면 반려동물·기록·일지·리포트가 모두 제거되며 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 구독은 App Store 또는 Google Play 설정에서 별도로 해지해야 합니다.
9. 서비스 제공·변경
당사는 서비스를 안정적으로 운영하기 위해 노력하지만 "이용 가능한 상태 그대로" 제공합니다. 당사는 언제든지 기능을 추가·변경·중단할 수 있으며, 서비스의 변경·중지·중단에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.
10. 보증의 부인
서비스는 상품성, 특정 목적 적합성, 정확성, 비침해를 포함해 명시적·묵시적 어떠한 보증도 없이 "있는 그대로", "이용 가능한 상태 그대로" 제공됩니다. 당사는 서비스가 중단 없이 오류 없이 제공된다거나 결과가 정확·신뢰할 수 있다고 보증하지 않습니다. 본 조항은 관련 법상 배제할 수 없는 보증을 제한하지 않습니다.
11. 책임의 제한
법이 허용하는 최대 범위에서, KinPaw와 그 팀은 서비스 이용(또는 이용 불가)으로 인해 발생한 간접·부수적·특별·결과적·징벌적 손해, 데이터·이익·영업권의 손실, 또는 반려동물에 대한 피해에 대해 책임지지 않습니다. 모든 청구에 대한 당사의 총책임은 청구 발생 직전 12개월 동안 귀하가 당사에 지불한 금액과 미화 50달러 중 큰 금액으로 제한됩니다. 일부 관할에서는 이러한 제한이 허용되지 않아 귀하에게 전부 적용되지 않을 수 있습니다.
12. 면책
귀하는 서비스의 오용, 본 약관 위반, 또는 법규·제3자 권리 위반으로 인해 발생하는 청구와 비용(합리적인 법률 비용 포함)으로부터 KinPaw를 면책하고 손해를 입히지 않을 것에 동의합니다.
13. 약관의 변경
당사는 본 약관을 수시로 업데이트할 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경이 있는 경우 "최종 수정일"을 갱신하고 필요한 경우 앱에서 알려드립니다. 업데이트 후 서비스를 계속 이용하면 개정된 약관에 동의하는 것입니다.
14. 준거법
본 약관은 귀하 거주지의 강행적 소비자보호법이 적용되는 경우를 제외하고, 법률 충돌 규정과 무관하게 미국 캘리포니아주 법률에 따릅니다. 분쟁은 현지법이 다른 곳에서 청구할 권리를 부여하지 않는 한 캘리포니아주 소재 법원에서 해결됩니다.

Te damos la bienvenida a KinPaw. Estos Términos del Servicio ("Términos") son un acuerdo vinculante entre tú y KinPaw ("KinPaw", "nosotros") y rigen el uso de las apps móviles de KinPaw y del sitio web thekinpaw.com (en conjunto, el "Servicio").
Al crear una cuenta o usar el Servicio, aceptas estos Términos y nuestra Política de Privacidad. Si no estás de acuerdo, por favor no uses el Servicio.
1. Quién puede usar KinPaw
Debes tener al menos 13 años (o la edad mínima de consentimiento digital de tu país) para usar KinPaw, y edad suficiente para celebrar un contrato vinculante. Si usas el Servicio en nombre de un hogar u organización, confirmas que tienes autorización para aceptar estos Términos en su nombre.
2. Tu cuenta
Te registras con un correo y contraseña, o inicias sesión con Google o Apple. Eres responsable de mantener seguras tus credenciales y de la actividad que ocurra en tu cuenta. Avísanos a gotssom@gmail.com si sospechas de un uso no autorizado. Podemos rechazar, suspender o cancelar cuentas que infrinjan estos Términos o que razonablemente creamos que generan riesgo o exposición legal para nosotros u otros usuarios.
3. Aviso médico — por favor léelo
KinPaw no es un veterinario y no brinda asesoramiento, diagnóstico ni tratamiento veterinario. Todo lo que produce el Servicio — estimaciones de calorías y porciones, sugerencias de recetas y nutrición, orientación sobre suplementos, explicaciones de informes de laboratorio o etiquetas de medicamentos y alimentos, calendarios de vacunas, listas de preguntas para el veterinario, señales de alergia e informes mensuales — es únicamente material educativo e informativo de referencia.
- Consulta siempre a un veterinario con licencia para el diagnóstico, el tratamiento, la medicación y cualquier decisión que afecte la salud de tu mascota.
- Nunca ignores ni retrases el consejo veterinario profesional por algo que hayas leído en KinPaw.
- En una emergencia, contacta de inmediato a tu veterinario o a un hospital veterinario de urgencias.
- KinPaw no reemplaza el juicio profesional. Eres el único responsable de las decisiones que tomes sobre el cuidado de tu mascota.
Aceptaste este aviso al crear tu cuenta.
4. Funciones de IA
Algunas funciones usan IA para leer el contenido que envías (por ejemplo, una entrada del diario o la imagen de un informe o etiqueta que decides escanear) y generar un resultado. El resultado de la IA puede ser incompleto o incorrecto, es solo informativo y está sujeto al aviso médico anterior. Revísalo con criterio y verifica cualquier cosa importante con tu veterinario. El tratamiento de los datos enviados a nuestro proveedor de IA se describe en la Política de Privacidad.
5. Tu contenido
Conservas la propiedad de la información y los archivos que agregas: perfiles de mascotas, registros, diarios, fotos y documentos subidos ("Tu Contenido"). Otorgas a KinPaw una licencia limitada para almacenar, procesar y mostrar Tu Contenido con el único fin de operar y prestarte el Servicio (incluida la ejecución de las funciones de IA que actives). Eres responsable de Tu Contenido y confirmas que tienes derecho a proporcionarlo. Puedes eliminar registros individuales, o toda tu cuenta, en cualquier momento (ver Sección 8).
6. Uso aceptable
No hagas mal uso del Servicio. En particular, no debes: infringir la ley; vulnerar los derechos de otros; subir software malicioso; intentar vulnerar, sobrecargar, extraer datos o aplicar ingeniería inversa al Servicio; revenderlo o explotarlo comercialmente sin nuestro permiso; ni usarlo para prestar servicios veterinarios a terceros como si fuera una herramienta clínica.
7. Suscripciones, facturación y prueba gratuita
KinPaw puede ofrecer suscripciones de pago (por ejemplo, un plan premium al precio indicado en la app). Lo siguiente aplica a las suscripciones de renovación automática compradas a través de Apple App Store o Google Play:
- Facturación. El pago se cobra a tu cuenta de App Store / Google Play al confirmar la compra.
- Prueba gratuita. Si se ofrece una prueba gratuita, no se te cobrará durante ella. Si no la cancelas antes de que termine, se convierte en una suscripción de pago y se te cobra el precio vigente.
- Renovación automática. La suscripción se renueva automáticamente por el mismo período y precio salvo que la canceles al menos 24 horas antes del fin del período actual.
- Gestión y cancelación. Gestiona o cancela en cualquier momento en los ajustes de tu cuenta de App Store o Google Play. Eliminar la app no cancela la suscripción.
- Reembolsos. Las compras las gestionan Apple o Google y los reembolsos se rigen por sus políticas; por lo general no podemos emitir reembolsos directamente.
- Cambios de precio. Podemos cambiar los precios de suscripción; los cambios aplican a períodos de facturación futuros y, cuando se requiera, solo tras aviso y tu consentimiento.
Las compras en Apple App Store también se rigen por el EULA estándar de Apple.
8. Cancelación y eliminación de cuenta
Puedes dejar de usar KinPaw cuando quieras. Para eliminar permanentemente tu cuenta y todos los datos asociados, abre la app y ve a Perfil → Eliminar cuenta, o escribe a gotssom@gmail.com. La eliminación borra tus mascotas, registros, diarios e informes y no se puede deshacer. La suscripción debe cancelarse por separado en los ajustes de App Store o Google Play.
9. Disponibilidad y cambios del Servicio
Trabajamos para mantener el Servicio en funcionamiento, pero lo ofrecemos "según disponibilidad". Podemos agregar, cambiar, suspender o discontinuar funciones en cualquier momento. No somos responsables por ninguna modificación, suspensión o discontinuación del Servicio.
10. Renuncias de garantía
El Servicio se proporciona "tal cual" y "según disponibilidad", sin garantías de ningún tipo, expresas o implícitas, incluidas las de comerciabilidad, idoneidad para un fin determinado, exactitud y no infracción. No garantizamos que el Servicio sea ininterrumpido o libre de errores, ni que ningún resultado sea exacto o fiable. Esto no limita las garantías que no puedan excluirse según la ley aplicable.
11. Limitación de responsabilidad
En la máxima medida permitida por la ley, KinPaw y su equipo no serán responsables por daños indirectos, incidentales, especiales, consecuentes o punitivos, ni por pérdida de datos, ganancias o reputación, ni por daño a tu mascota, derivados del uso (o la imposibilidad de uso) del Servicio. Nuestra responsabilidad total por cualquier reclamo se limita al mayor entre lo que nos pagaste en los 12 meses previos al reclamo o USD 50. Algunas jurisdicciones no permiten estos límites, por lo que podrían no aplicarse del todo a ti.
12. Indemnización
Aceptas indemnizar y eximir de responsabilidad a KinPaw frente a reclamos y gastos (incluidos honorarios legales razonables) que surjan de tu mal uso del Servicio, tu incumplimiento de estos Términos, o tu violación de cualquier ley o derecho de terceros.
13. Cambios en estos Términos
Podemos actualizar estos Términos de vez en cuando. Si hacemos cambios sustanciales, actualizaremos la fecha de "Última actualización" y, cuando corresponda, te avisaremos en la app. El uso continuado del Servicio tras una actualización significa que aceptas los Términos revisados.
14. Ley aplicable
Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes del Estado de California, EE. UU., sin considerar sus normas de conflicto de leyes, salvo cuando apliquen las leyes imperativas de protección al consumidor de tu lugar de residencia. Las disputas se resolverán en los tribunales de California, salvo que la ley local te dé derecho a presentar un reclamo en otro lugar.
